Debit Card Phone-Scam Alert Update

In recent months, we have detected that some Camden National Bank customers as well as some other local households may have been the target of a widespread debit card vishing scam. Some local households received either a recording or a live caller stating that their debit card had been suspended. The caller requested specific card information as a step to re-activate the card.

Camden National Bank would like to remind customers not to respond to any requests of this nature. These attempts are designed to steal personal banking information. Camden National Bank does not contact its customers by telephone to ask them for or share their account information.
