Camden National Corporation Names Three New Assistant Vice Presidents - 3/31/2008
CAMDEN, Maine, March 31, 2008 -Robert W. Daigle, president and chief executive officer of Camden National Corporation, is pleased to announce that Joshua Nash, Matt Wisniewski, and Allison Young have recently been named assistant vice presidents at Camden National Corporation. "We want to recognize the leadership and dedication these individuals have demonstrated in their delivery of an outstanding customer service experience," noted Daigle.
As a database administrator with the Information Technology Department, Josh Nash is responsible for providing technology solutions to ensure the availability and functionality of systems for consistent and reliable customer service. Josh joined Camden National as a program support technician in 2004. Since then, Josh has demonstrated technical and professional expertise in his commitment to supporting his customers. Josh holds a Master of Science degree in Information Systems and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from the University of Maine at Orono. During graduate school, Josh worked in the information systems field with Fitch Co. and the University of Maine. He continues to advance his expertise in the field of information systems by recently passing the Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) exam, sponsored by ISACA®. In 2007, Josh was honored with Camden National's Commitment to Core Values Award in recognition of his dedication to and practice of the Company's guiding Core Values. A resident of Hermon, Josh is based at Camden National's location in Bangor.
Beginning his career as a trust accountant and cash manager, Matthew Wisniewski joined Camden National's finance division in 2003 as a staff accountant. In 2005, Matt was named an asset and liability management analyst, working with the Company's Asset and Liability Committee (ALCO) on balance sheet strategies. In 2006, Matt was promoted to treasury officer with increased responsibility for wholesale funding. In this position, Matt continues to work with the Company's ALCO analyzing and implementing balance sheet strategies. Prior to joining Camden National, Matt worked with Mellon Financial Corporation and ITS Asset Management. Prior to that, he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration from Washington & Jefferson College. Matt is based at the Company's Hanley Center in Rockport and is a resident of Belfast.
Allison Young began her career with Camden National Bank in 2001 as a portfolio manager in the bank’s financial business center in Portland. In 2002, Alli transferred to Camden National Corporation's Loan Production Center where she served as a technician before being promoted to team leader and then assistant manager in 2004. Alli was named electronic banking manager in 2005 with responsibility for all Debit/ATM Card, Internet, ACH and Wire services. Prior to joining Camden National Bank, Alli held a number of positions with KeyBank. Alli serves as a co-chair of Camden National's Community Spirit of Giving, an employee-run community outreach effort that sponsors fundraising events throughout the year to raise money to provide children with warm clothing, presents, and a food basket each December. A resident of Cushing, Alli is a 2005 graduate of the New England School of Banking, Williams College.
