Camden National Bank Expands Customer Service Initiatives

Camden, Maine, November 29, 2016 – Camden National Bank, a full-service community bank serving both retail and business customers across Maine and northern New England, recently announced that it expanded its customer service commitment by increasing its Customer Assistance Center hours to twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week, a first for a Maine-based community bank. Additionally, the bank has expanded its cyber-security protection with real-time debit card fraud alert offerings, adding email to the text and phone notification options already available that allow customers to quickly detect and stop fraudulent use of their debit card.

Camden National Bank Donates $20,000 to Support Area Shelters in Honor of National Hunger and Homelessness Awareness Week

Camden, Maine November 22, 2016 Thanks to a little help from its customers, Camden National Bank was able to provide some extra support to Maine’s homeless shelters in honor of National Hunger and Homelessness Awareness Week, this November by donating a total of $20,000 to 34 shelters throughout the state. The donation was the result of a promotion aimed at increasing support and awareness for local homeless shelters during this special week. On November 12th, customers were asked to use their Camden National Bank debit card, and for every two purchases made, the Bank offered to donate $1 through its Hope@Home program, up to $20,000.

Camden National Bank Recognizes Six Nonprofit Leaders at 2016 Leaders & Luminaries Event

Portland, ME, November 14, 2016 – On Thursday, November 10th, Camden National Bank joined leaders and representatives from Maine’s nonprofit community for the 2016 Leaders & Luminaries luncheon. Held during the Maine Association of Nonprofits (MANP) Governance and Leadership Forum at The Harraseeket Inn in Freeport, the annual awards ceremony recognizes and celebrates the impact of the state’s local nonprofits and the leaders who have dedicated themselves to helping their organizations achieve their goals. This year’s Leaders & Luminaries grants totaled $22,000 in local nonprofit support which was awarded to six recipients. Four Leaders & Luminaries winners received $5,000 for their nonprofits, and two “Emerging Board Leaders” received $1,000 each for their respective organizations.

Camden National Bank Donates Historic Buildings to Gardiner Main Street to Support City’s Revitalization Efforts

Gardiner, Maine – November 3, 2016 – Camden National Bank has donated a historic block of buildings in downtown Gardiner to Gardiner Main Street in support of the city’s redevelopment efforts. Located at 149-167 Water Street in Gardiner’s National Register Historic District, the block of properties comprises 23,000 square feet in four stories and is located next to Reny’s and directly across from the Gardiner Public Library. In addition, the gift, valued at $350,000, also includes a vacant lot located at 129 Water Street. The announcement was made at a public ribbon cutting at the location on Wednesday, November 2nd.

Camden National Bank Helps Support Local Farms and Raise Funds for Central Maine Food Pantries

Augusta, Maine – September 8, 2016 – Camden National Bank partnered with Central Maine communities this summer to help raise awareness and resources for local food pantries. During the months of June, July and August, employees from the bank’s Augusta, Gardiner, Lewiston and Waterville locations attended their local farmers’ markets to help their neighbors raise funds to fight food insecurity in their areas. The bank set up at table at select markets, handed out reusable tote bags to shoppers, and offered to weigh their grocery purchases. For every pound of food a shopper purchased, Camden National Bank pledged to donate one dollar to a local food pantry. In total, market shoppers ended up raising $2,000 to help fight hunger in central Maine.

Camden National Corporation's Board Announces Three-for-Two Stock Split

CAMDEN, Maine - August 30, 2016 - Camden National Corporation (NASDAQ®: CAC; “Camden National” or the “Company”) announced today that its Board of Directors has approved a three-for-two stock split to be effected in the form of a stock dividend on the Company’s common stock. The three-for-two stock split is payable September 30, 2016, to its common shareholders of record at the close of business on September 15, 2016. Shareholders will receive cash in lieu of any fractional share of common stock that they otherwise would have been entitled to receive in connection with the split, except that participants in the Company’s Dividend Reinvestment & Direct Stock Purchase and Sale Plan will have fractional shares credited to their accounts. The price paid for fractional shares will be the closing price the last trading day immediately prior to record date.

Camden National Bank Employees Raise $9,000 to Help Fight Maine’s Growing Hunger Problem
