Camden National Bank’s Northern Region Commercial Banking Team Welcomes Three New Members

Camden, Maine, October 26, 2021 – Camden National Bank announced that its Northern Region Commercial Banking team is growing with the addition of Craig Day, promoted to Vice President, Commercial Banking Officer, as well as Mark Vanidestine and Will Hatt, who are both new to Camden National Bank. In his new role, Day develops and manages commercial banking relationships primarily in the greater Augusta/Waterville area. Hatt, Senior Vice President, Commercial Banking Officer, develops and manages commercial relationships in the greater Ellsworth and Downeast region, and Vanidestine, Vice President, Commercial Banking Officer, in the greater Bangor area.

Day has served on the Business Banking team at Camden National Bank for five years, managing banking relationships for many small businesses in Central Maine to help them grow and thrive. Previously, he worked at Bank of America in retail banking and card services, and he is a graduate from the University of Southern Maine. Day is also active in the local community, where has served on the City of Waterville and Colby College Steering Committee, the Mid-Maine Business Expansion and Retention Committee, and the School Board for St. John’s Regional Catholic School. Currently, Craig serves on the Town of Winslow’s Comprehensive Planning Committee.

With over 25 years of experience in commercial banking, Hatt joins Camden National Bank from CUSO Mortgage/Business Lending Solutions LLC, a privately held commercial lending institution owned by Maine Credit Unions, where he served as Senior Vice President, Chief Operating Officer. He attended a 3-year on-site program on bank management at the Wharton School of Business, University of Pennsylvania, and Georgetown University. He currently lives in Dedham, Maine.

Vanidestine brings more than 17 years of experience in banking, and most recently, he served as Vice President, Business Banking Relationship Manager at Peoples United Bank. He received his Master of Science in Business from Husson University, and he has deep family ties to the greater Bangor area where he will be based.
