Help the homeless when you finance your home.

In every community, the homeless need help, hope, and a chance for a better life. As a community bank, we are dedicated to working with local shelters and other charitable organizations whose mission is to provide vital assistance to those in need.

Through the Hope@Home program we’re donating $100 to a community shelter in Maine every time a customer finances a new home through Camden National Bank.

The donation is given in the homeowner’s name and helps provide critical services and support such as food, shelter and guidance in developing critical life skills.

Some facts about homelessness in Maine:

  • Approximately 1 in 550 people in Maine were homeless last year.

  • Maine’s homeless population consists of families, single adults, victims of domestic violence and unaccompanied youth.

  • Rental subsidies, affordable housing, and transitional and outreach services are some of the solutions for ending homelessness in Maine.
