Camden, Maine, July 23, 2014 – June Parent, executive vice president, retail banking for Camden National Bank, is pleased to welcome Ira J. Camp to the position of senior mortgage banker. Based in Kennebunk, Camp will serve York County, as well as parts of southern Cumberland County, and report to Linda Gilbert, senior vice president, retail lending manager.
"Ira is a wonderful addition to our retail lending team. His experience in the mortgage industry, knowledge of the community, and reputation for building trusted relationships will ensure that our clients receive exceptional service and guidance,” said Parent.
Prior to joining Camden National, Camp was a mortgage account officer and assistant vice president at People’s United Bank. “Camden National has the perfect balance of size and community banking values,” said Camp. “I am excited to join the team and look forward to providing customers with the best solutions to achieve their homeownership dreams.”
Camp will be developing new relationships and assisting clients in the York County area. His years of experience will benefit his customers as they navigate the process of financing their home.

Camp grew up in Stratham, New Hampshire, but spent much of his childhood at his family’s lake home on Square Pond in Shapleigh. Having lived full time in Maine for over 10 years, he is active in the community serving as chair of the Arundel Economic Development Committee and on the board of the Kennebunk Historical Society’s annual golf tournament. He lives in Arundel with his wife, Kirsten and children Gillian and William.
