Camden National Bank Names Nathan Cotnoir as New Commercial Banking Officer

Augusta, Maine, October 11, 2012 – Timothy Nightingale, executive vice president and senior lending officer for Camden National Bank, is pleased to announce that Nathan Cotnoir has joined Camden National Bank, and has been named vice president, commercial banking officer for the bank. Cotnoir will manage commercial banking relationships throughout the Augusta, Gardiner and Waterville markets.

Cotnoir joined Camden National with a decade of banking and commercial lending experience. He began his career as a credit analyst and customer relationship manager for MBNA Corporation, taking on the role of personal banking officer when MBNA transitioned to Bank of America. Most recently, Cotnoir served as vice president of commercial lending for The Bank of Maine.

Cotnoir graduated magna cum laude from the University of Maine with a bachelor’s degree in political science and a minor in public administration. He currently serves as president of the board of directors of Gardiner Main Street and director of the Gardiner Board of Trade. Cotnoir sits on the City of Gardiner Economic Development Committee and volunteers with the United Way of Kennebec Valley. He lives in Augusta with his wife, Jamie, and their son Ethan.
